Housing

  Tuition & General Expenses

All tuition and fees are paid by the department and/or the university. The only monetary obligation of the student is the application fee that is required when the student applies to the university. Certain course material fees may apply in different situations. Additional expenses should be allowed for books and supplies, room and board, and transportation. Actual costs may vary depending on the needs of the individual student.

Graduate research assistantships are granted to all admitted members of the Hilberry Company in the areas of acting, scenic design, costume design, lighting design, stage management and theatre management.

Stipends and benefits for the 2005-06 academic year are as follows:

$5,864 Tuition and Fee Waivers (10 credit hours/semester)
$3,679 Medical and Dental Insurance
$11,647 Assistantship Stipend
$21,190 Total
