Housing Information
Wayne State University operates several housing facilities, including the University
Towers (located across the street from the theatre). Apartments of various sizes,
furnished or unfurnished, are available. All university housing have laundry rooms
and some have a security desk and air conditioning. A few partial housing subsidies
are available to Hilberry Company members.
Privately owned apartment buildings offer studio and one, two, or three-bedroom
apartments within five blocks of the Hilberry Theatre and Production Center.
Prices range from about $350 per month for a studio apartment to about $750 per
month for a two-bedroom apartment in the university area.
Students are urged to arrange for housing prior to the beginning of the fall semester.
